Favourite area:
Agios Nikolaos
If I could only recommend one area in Crete, it would be Agios Nikolaos. It has a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful sea views and the perfect balance between local charm and luxury.
Favourite hotel:
NUMO Ierapetra
This would be my pick for a slower side of Crete. I love its minimalist design, peaceful atmosphere and the fact that it feels like a true escape from the busier parts of the island.
Favourite restaurant:
I’d book a table here for a long lunch or sunset dinner by the sea. I love its elegant setting, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful coastal views.
Favourite sunset:
Chania Old Town
If I had to choose one place to end the day in Crete, it would be Chania Old Town. The golden light, colourful buildings and waterfront atmosphere make it feel incredibly special.
Favourite photo spot:
Seitan Limania
This is one of those places that looks even better in real life. The turquoise water and dramatic cliffs make it one of my favourite photo spots in Crete.
Favourite beach club:
Nisos Beach
This would be my choice for a relaxed beach day in Crete. I love its laid-back atmosphere, beautiful setting and the fact that it never feels too busy or overwhelming.
My tip for you:
Don’t underestimate driving times in Crete. Even places that look close on the map can easily take over an hour to reach.
