Favourite area: Yalıkavak

If it was my first time in Bodrum, this is exactly where I’d stay. It has the perfect mix of luxury hotels, beautiful restaurants, beach clubs and a marina that’s lovely to walk around both during the day and in the evening.

Favourite hotel:

OKU Bodrum

This would be my pick for a slower, more relaxed Bodrum escape. I love its minimalist design, peaceful atmosphere and beachfront location away from the busier areas.

ZUMA

I’d book a table here for a special evening. The cocktails are amazing, the sunset views are beautiful and it has one of my favourite atmospheres in Bodrum.

Gümüşlük

If I had to choose one place to end the day in Bodrum, it would be Gümüşlük. It has a relaxed atmosphere and one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen there.

Yalıkavak Marina

This is the place I’d never skip, especially around golden hour. It’s elegant, lively and one of the most beautiful spots in Bodrum for a sunset stroll and photos.

Folie

This would be my choice for a relaxed beach day in Bodrum. I love its elegant atmosphere, beautiful setting and the fact that it feels luxurious without being over the top.

My tip for you:

Bodrum is much bigger than it looks, so don’t try to see everything in 4-5 days. Pick one area as your base and explore nearby places instead.
