If I could only choose one, these would be my picks.
Favourite area: La Caleta
If I could only recommend one area in Tenerife, it would be La Caleta. I love how calm and elegant it feels, with beautiful seafront walks, great restaurants and a much quieter atmosphere than the busier resort areas.
Favourite hotel:
Tivoli La Caleta
This would be my pick if I wanted a relaxed luxury stay in Tenerife. I love its elegant design, peaceful atmosphere and the fact that it feels close to everything while still being tucked away from the busier parts of the island.
Favourite restaurant:
Limonella
I’d book a table here for a long lunch or a relaxed dinner by the sea. I love its elegant atmosphere, beautiful setting and the fact that it matches the slower side of Tenerife.
Favourite sunset:
Punta de Teno
This is my favourite sunset in Tenerife because it feels completely different from the rest of the island. I love how peaceful and untouched it is, with incredible views of the cliffs, the ocean and La Gomera in the distance.
Favourite photo spot:
Playa de Castro
This is my favourite photo spot in Tenerife because it feels like a hidden gem. I love the dramatic cliffs, the black sand and the little waterfall nearby, which make it look completely different from the Tenerife most people expect.
Favourite beach club:
Roca Blanca Beach Club
This is my favourite beach club in Tenerife because it feels stylish without being too over the top. I love its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful ocean views and the fact that it’s perfect for a slower, more peaceful beach day.
My tip for you:
Don’t book Tenerife expecting only nightlife. The island has a much slower, quieter side that’s perfect for a relaxing holiday.
